Icelandic Sheepdog Breed Booth at the Ottawa Pet Feast for the Third year in a row, Greenstone Kennels on behalf of the Canadian Icelandic Sheepdog Club have taken the Icelandics out to meet and greet the public each Aug, in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
Each time its been a wonderful success, the Icelandic have been put on the Six and 11 o'clock news (2004) promoting our very rare breed, and seen across Eastern Canada. They have had their photos taken with school groups and special needs Groups, and gotten their photos in the local Newpapers (2005) and last year, they again got their photos taken and placed in the newspapers and a lovely photo of an Icelandic and the Superpet Mascot was taken and was used online to promote the event (2006)
